Color: Purple with a metallic finishI'm not a big fan of the color purple but I gotta say the metallic finish on this bible is breath taking. The metallic finish makes the color not look dull and plain
Card & dollar bill slots:
Inside there is a place to put credit cards and dollar bills. (this is only on one side tho, it's not on both sides like on a regular wallet. Located on the front side not back of bible)
Cons:
*Letters & font size:
That's the only thing I don't really like from this bible the font size is really small and it makes it a bit hard to read the text on the bible. I seems like it has a 5 point font, it's small.
* normally small pocket sized bibles don't have a thumb index on the side to find the books of the bible faster. Although, I do own 2 small bibles that do have thumb index on the side. If this one would of included the thumb index, it would of been a plus for me.
* no bible ribbon:
What a shame I like bible ribbons they help you keep track of where you left off reading. Unfortunately, this one doesn't have one. I think I'm going to add one, so it can come in handy.
Pros:
Chapter subtitiles: gives you an idea of what the chapter or section is about (their not in bold tho, just plain italic which makes it a bit hard to distinguish from the regular text since it just blends in)
Letters of Christ are in red
Zipper closure: to protect the bible pages from becoming wrinkly, dog eared or damaged on the edges
@ the back there's a section called: (that includes bible passages of where you can find the following:)

*Perspectives from the bible (includes)
What to read when: (here are a couple; these subtitles are accompanied with bible verses to help you grow on your walk with God)

Love it! Has such a pretty sheen to the material!
Love it. Perfect.
This is really great looking and easy to carry around. The only issues are that the pages are thin and stick, which make it hard to turn fast enough during service and the writing is very small.
I love this handy bible. I can bring it with me anywhere without taking much space on my bag. I like the card slots inside where i can put my cards if I am not bringing my wallet with me. The leather cover with the zip on it protects the pages from any tear. Highly recommended!!
Rated this only 2 stars as the print size appears smaller than the description and the ink is too light. Decided to keep as the zipper case is nice and sturdy and the pages are secure. Zondervan is a good name. Can always find someone who could benefit from this bible. Would purchase again if they made the print darker.
I love this product! It's small, fits in your purse, looks like a wallet, and it would make a great gift. I want to buy a bunch more to have on hand for gifts, and also to give as gifts for my Sunday School class. They really seem kind of more appropriate for a girl, but I am thinking that since this one is black, you could get away with taking off the strap for boys. Depends on the age I think. The only thing I will say is that the print is small, so for someone who needs large print, this will not work, unless using a magnifier, which sort of defeats its purpose of being small and portable. I love that it has pockets on the inside for a little extra cash, pictures, credit cards, or to stash my offering checks.
I didn't love it. I'm keeping it though to give to a Sunday School student as a reward or Birthday Gift. The slots for credit cards are tight and small. If you're hoping to replace carrying your purse on special days this won't do that. It also lacks a pen slot. I expected these things from reading previous reviews but what I didn't care for was the shiny sparkly finish. It's perfect for a junior high school student but it's not something I would carry as a clutch. Still a decent mini Bible if you're planning to toss it in a tote bag or large purse. But I would never wear/carry it as a clutch.
